When measuring your dog for a martingale collar, please be aware that the collar will need to be able to slip over your dog's head, as there is no buckle. Firstly, measure the widest part of your dog's head, then measure his neck, just as you would for a standard, buckle-style collar. Use the larger of the two measurements to figure out which size you will need.
