Tilly's Loving Dog Silhouette Pet ID Tag

Rescued from Tulea, Texas by Main Street Mutt Rescue of Ferndale, Washington, we fell in love with Tilly when she came into our store for a fundraising event.  Scared stiff of just about everything, she huddled in a corner shaking, and it wasn't until we got on the floor with her, that we saw a preview of the amazing, loving doggie she was to become.  Fostering to adopt this precious little girl was a no-brainer, and so Tilly came home to Birch Bay with us that evening.  

The week that followed was fun, as we watched her interact with Simon, her senior Cocker Spaniel sibling, and gradually gain more confidence.  There was absolutely no indication that a few days later, back in the store, she would manage to slither out of a doorway and head towards Hovander Park. The following ten days were horrendous. Tilly never ventured far from the off-leash area of the park, and was seen a few times, always on a Tuesday, but in spite of half of Ferndale looking for her, she remained on the run. We even worked with K9 Track NW to locate her, but it wasn't until we used a trap, kindly provided by The Alternative Humane Society of Whatcom County, that we eventually managed to catch her. 

Now safely back at home, Tilly continues to thrive, and we have now signed the paperwork to adopt this precious pittie-mix girl.
